Birthday Bags was founded with a simple goal: to create special memories for kids on their birthday. By supplying a birthday party in a bag to those who are less fortunate, we help families celebrate together and give their children the special, loving birthday they deserve.

Everything we do is made possible through the generous donations of people like you. By putting together birthday bags or even giving financial support, you can make a difference in the lives of children. Individuals, businesses, clubs, schools - anyone can take part and feel the special joy that comes from helping others.

Birthday bags was founded by Terri Maucher in 2016. Terri founded Birthday Bags after reading about a woman who gave a “birthday in a bag” to her local food bank in honor of her grandchildren’s birthdays. The story kept returning to her mind over several months, and upon doing more research, she decided to help meet that need in her community.

In 2023, Terri turned over Birthday Bags to me and I am so thrilled to be apart of this amazing organization! I hope to continue the good work that Terri started.

I’ve been married to Greg for over 35 yrs. I’m mom to Drake and Hunter and “Nanee” to 5 precious grandkids.
